On May 19th of 2020, the educational training program organized by Balt International was dedicated for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.

 This session included the participation of the following speakers:

•  Dr Guglielmo Pero, Milano, Italy
•  Dr Mariangela Piano, Milano, Italy
•  Dr Jordi Blasco, Barcelona, Spain

During the 2- and 30-minutes seminar, Dr Piano started by presenting her experience by using different stent retriever for the treatment of distal large vessel occlusion in the brain vasculature. Afterwards, Dr Pero continue this educational day by reviewing and sharing his experience using Cangrelor in the treatment of this patients. To conclude with this session, Dr Jordi Blasco made the last presentation of the day by reviewing the literature as well as reviewing different & several technical aspects for the management of this kind of procedures.  

At the end of the presentation, all speakers opened a space and time to resolve and answer all the questions that any of the attendees might have. 

The session had attendees from more than 60 countries worldwide.
